Yoga for Leg Strength + Flexibility: Love Your Legs!
Today’s sequence was inspired by me searching on Google & YouTube “Yoga for Legs” and having very little come up. I realize the reason is probably due to yoga teachers targeting more specific muscle groups such as calves, thighs, feet, etc. but I was looking for a more generic routine. I realize we work our legs in nearly every video, since they are in charge of our lower body; but I thought it would be nice to send them some real focused love and attention.
In this video, I set an intention at the beginning to really think about your legs while you’re practicing and notice how they feel while you take your time and slow down your movements. Legs are overlooked and taken advantage of everyday and it’s time to highlight them and show your gratitude for all they do for you.
Now get ready and LEGS GO!
(PS. I’m not trying to single-out people that have any paralyzation, injuries, or health concerns in that area. I can only imagine how difficult that would be. It anchors an even heavier weight on the fact that we should all be thankful for what we have, while we have it. If that is the case for you, hopefully you can join some breathing exercises or restorative videos.)
I apologize, I do not have a sequence cheat sheet this week! I’ve had a bit of technical trouble with my tablet. Once I have it up & running I will make sure to come back to this video and post it up. Thank you for understanding. Feel free to go through my previous posts to download my others (for now).
